CANCELED - Gender in the Military: Bridging Research to Practice
Please join us on October 9-11, 2013 for a three-day discussion about gender issues that affect military-involved families, including: interpersonal violence and gender-based trauma, parenting and childcare during deployment, reproductive health, masculinity and military identity, gender identity and policies regarding transgender individuals, sexual orientation and same-sex relationships. The Gender in the Military Conference will coincide with the 2013 Stanton/Anthony Luncheon and Conversations during Meliora Weekend.
Unfortunately due to the government shutdown, many of our speakers were unable to attend, and we had to cancel the conference. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Stanton/Anthony Luncheon and Conversations are still happening as planned on October 11th.
