The Community Fund at Work
United Way of Greater Rochester has developed a focused plan for the Community Fund, called the Blueprint for Change. The Blueprint outlines United Way's funding priorities; Meeting Basic Needs, Giving Babies the Best Start, Preparing Kids for Success and Supporting Seniors & Caregivers.
There is no single cause of the problems our community faces, and there is no single solution. United Way of Greater Rochester, with the help of your donations to the Community Fund, funds nearly 80 programs in the Greater Rochester area. These programs help address our community's most pressing issues through strategies that primarily focus on prevention and assistance to as many people as possible. Our community investment decisions are made by staff and volunteers from around the community who work alongside experts to develop policy and strategy, review requests for funding and ensure services are delivered according to our Blueprints for Change.
United Way of Greater Rochester announced some amazing results at the first-ever Impact Briefing meeting on December 18, 2013, and are proud to share a Progress Report.
