Begin Making Plans for Open Enrollment 2015

During his annual address to the Faculty Senate on Tuesday, September 16th President Joel Seligman announced that he had approved a campus wide committee's recommendation to offer revised health care plans for all benefit-eligible faculty and staff members. The open enrollment period for the 2015 plans will begin Monday, Oct. 20, and end on Monday, Nov. 10. The new plans require that all employees actively select a plan for the 2015 year. Previous selections will not roll over into 2015. The annual open enrollment period is also an opportunity to elect a flexible spending account (FSA), elect a health savings account (HSA), elect or change dental plan coverage, and elect or change optional life insurance coverage without proof of good health (if you have not been previously declined for coverage by Securian Life). The Benefits Office will mail open enrollment materials to the homes of benefit-eligible faculty and staff beginning the week of October 13. Continue to visit the Benefits Office website in the coming weeks to view the 2015 Open Enrollment materials, including the 2015 Open Enrollment informational sessions schedule.
