New York Lit Crawl and the CLMP Event

Tomorrow evening, the first ever New York City Lit Crawl will take place. Essentially a bar crawl + literature, the Lit Crawl will feature five events taking place in the Lower East Side at 6 pm, followed by another six events in the East Village at 7:15, and then six more in Williamsburg at 8:30, with a final after-party at 9:30. All the details can be found here.

All of the events sound really interesting and worth checking out. Unfortunately, no one from Open Letter can make it, but we do have a book featured at the CLMP’s Globe-O-Rama Fruit Salad Reading.

This event is from 8:30-9:15 at The Abbey (536 Driggs b/w North 7th and North 8th) in Williamsburg. Michael Barron of New Directions will read from Dubravka Ugresic’s Nobody’s Home and also from The Museum of Unconditional Surrender. He’ll be joined at the event by Joshua Ellison of Habitus, Jen Hayashida from Ugly Duckling Presse, and Aaron Hawn from Fence. There will also be a “global fruit salad” and the event is just down the street from the after-party, which are two other reasons to attend.
