Lennie Returns as Dean of Faculty

Peter Lennie was named the Robert L. and Mary L. Sproull Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering. Lennie, a neuroscientist, was the first chair of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, director of the Center for Visual Science, and dean of academic resources and planning for the College in the 1990s before taking the position of dean for science at New York University.

“I’m delighted to be returning to the University, and to the College in particular,” he says. “The faculty, staff, and students have brought the College to a position of considerable strength and are ambitious for growth.”
