How to account for faculty staff who are over the cap? Meaning, the faculty budget is less than the total value of the faculty staff (matrix doesn’t account for faculty who are over the cap).

There are at least three options:

  1. Budget an offsetting credit recognizing the FAO will need to receive a credit from another source (i.e. discretionary or clinical funds)
  2. Move a portion of the salary to another FAO
  3. Reduce the salary
