The University of Rochester has completed its purchase of the East End Garage from the City of Rochester. The garage will remain open for use by the public and local businesses and continue its role as an important resource for faculty, staff and students (both full-time and part-time, through the Community Music School) at the Eastman School of Music (ESM) and attendees of performances at the ESM’s various concert halls. EEG Parking LLC, a newly formed affiliate of the University, now owns the garage and is responsible for managing the property, which consists of 1,282 parking spaces. EEG Parking LLC will maintain current parking rates through 2024-2025.
