Alan McNiff named associate vice president of facilities operations

Director of River Campus Facilities Alan McNiff has been named Associate Vice President of Facilities Operations effective February 1st. McNiff will provide strategic leadership to Facilities Operation teams across the University’s academic and medical institutions. Specific responsibilities will include River Campus Facilities Operations, Medical Center Facilities Operations, Offsite Properties, Asset Management, O&M Construction, Grounds and the Customer Service Center.

Prior to joining the University in 2021, McNiff served as the director of facilities for the Penfield School District. He also worked in the construction management sector, working on large scale projects and architectural design.

McNiff  is a Registered Architect and Leadership in Energy and Environmental DesignLEED Accredited Professional.
