Allen & Randy

Q: In your alumni duo household, what made your and Allen’s University of Rochester experience special?

A: The University of Rochester prepared us both for our graduate studies—Randy in Dental School and Allen in Nursing Management & Leadership—and we are forever grateful for this. We both gained lifelong friendships with our fellow classmates.

Q: Why do you give to the University of Rochester?

A: We give to the University so that others can continue to benefit from the uniqueness and high quality of education that the University has to offer across all fields. It is an uncommon university, with not only excellent undergraduate programs, but diverse fields in graduate studies as well.

Q: What made you decide to be a Day of Giving 2024 challenger?

A: We hope to inspire the spirit of “Meliora” in our fellow alumni and encourage others to give back to maintain not only the high quality of education and medical care, but to also keep improving the River Campus, The Medical Center, and the Eastman School of Music.

Q: What inspired you to join the George Eastman Circle and what do you value about being a member?

A: We were inspired to become Charter Members of the George Eastman Circle to give back to the University and meet other fellow alumni from around the country and the world who also hold the University of Rochester in a special place in their hearts. We hope many others can also experience Rochester as we have.
