What is the Reunion Rally?
Reunion Rally is a fun and friendly competition that encourages alumni to get involved during their reunion year. The goal is to see which reunion class can achieve the highest level of participation across four core reunion activities. It’s an opportunity for reunion alumni to reconnect with their classmates, contribute to the University of Rochester community, and have fun in the process!
The Four Core Reunion Activities
The Reunion Rally competition centers on four core reunion activities, each of which provides points for each class based on individual participation.
- Go: Attend an alumni event
Celebrate throughout the year by attending exciting Alumni University events and enjoy perks in recognition of your reunion year including discounted admission pricing and exclusive giveaway items. - Give: Participate in your Reunion Class Gift Campaign
Help your class make a difference by participating in your Reunion Class Gift Campaign, a tradition that makes amazing things possible for students following in your footsteps. All gifts, of any amount, to any area within the University and Medical Center count and make a lasting impact on the areas you feel most passionate about. - Help: Volunteer on your Class Reunion Committee
Join your class reunion committee to help plan or host events, encourage classmates to reconnect and reminisce, and make your class celebration the best ever! - Connect: Create a personal page in your reunion class digital book
Digital books are a unique way to connect with your class even before you’re back on campus. Be on the lookout for an email from our partner BrightCrowd with an individualized link to create your page, share an update, and reflect on your life since graduation.

How to Earn Points
Each class member can earn a point by completing two of the four reunion activities during their reunion year (January 1-December 31). The more people who participate, the higher the chance for your class to win!
The Winning Class
At the end of the reunion year, points from each class will be tallied. The class with the highest total score will be crowned the winner of the Reunion Rally. Participants within that class will receive a special small gift and, of course, bragging rights for being the most engaged and spirited class during that reunion year.
