Startup Bytes: Digital Brown Bag Lunch with Entrepreneurs

Join the Ain Center for Startup Bytes, a brown bag lunch with entrepreneurs! The Ain Center invites folks to take a break from noon to 1 PM once a month to hear from local or alumni innovators and to engage with different topics in entrepreneurship.
This month, we are taking a dive into the ethics behind AI. What happens to our data? What are some of the risks that are out there? How might AI impact the workforce of the future?
Computer science major and e5 scholar Daniel Munoz Huerta ‘22 is leading the discussion with panelists:
- Shrikant “Shri” Adhikarla – UR Alum and Research Data Scientist at FLX AI in Rochester, a company that works with government agencies, defense contractors, and media companies to interpret and authenticate imagery.
- Naushad UzZaman – UR Alum and CoFounder/CTO at Blackbird.AI, a company which helps organizations detect and respond to disinformation and manipulation that causes both financial and reputational harm.
- Andrew Branch – Director of Project Engineering at Measures for Justice, a Rochester not-profit which aims to make accurate criminal justice data available to promote reform.
