October 5, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Have an idea to change the world? Consider applying to the Hult Prize, the world’s largest social entrepreneurship competition, with a $1 million prize. This year’s challenge focuses on clean energy: “harnessing the power of energy to transform the lives of 10 million people.” Learn more about the competition and find potential teammates at the Hult Prize information session Thursday, October 5, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Hawkins-Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library. The session will feature the story of Team Meliora, which finished in the top 8 out of 50,000 entries in last year’s competition, and Professor Michael Wohl of the Simon School who mentored the team. Hosted by the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship and the iZone, pizza will be provided to all attendees. Advanced registration is required. Register online or sign up on Facebook.
