Patent Law: Protecting Your Ideas and Inventions

Mock Trial and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers present the panel event “Patent Law: Protecting your Ideas and Inventions” on Saturday, November 9, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in the Hawkins-Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library. A panel of patent attorneys will provide information on the patenting process, how to become a patent attorney, and their personal experiences in the industry. The first 30 minutes will be devoted to networking with hors d’oeuvres, to encourage attendee-attorney interactions. From 1 to 2 p.m., a moderator will ask questions to the panel. The final hourwill be devoted to a Q&A session from the audience and further networking. Register on Handshake.
