RocGrowth Candids

The next RocGrowth Candids event at 5:30 pm Jan. 8 at 3 City Center (180 S. Clinton Ave) will have the theme of “Student Startups, Featuring UR and RIT Entrepreneurs.” RocGrowth Candids is a bi-monthly event featuring regional entrepreneurs and innovators who share their personal stories and the lessons they’ve learned building successful ventures; they also feature other innovative leaders who impact our community’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
This RocGrowth Candids presents Entrepreneurship at RIT and U of R with Brandon Hudson, Seerwise (RIT), Andrew Kaseman, WetWare BioSystems (U of R), and Richard DeMartino, Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (RIT). Brandon and Andrew will describe their journey – from choosing to attend college in Rochester, how they launched their business while undergraduates, and why they decided to remain here to build their company. The goal is to help break down information barriers and expose the community to the tremendous possibilities that are emerging within our midst.
