  • Three-year letterman for soccer and basketball
  • Also lettered in track and field team as a junior
  • All-New York State soccer honors for three years (1956-58) and All-American honors twice (Second Team in 1957, First Team in 1958)
  • Co-captain of the soccer team as a senior, co-captain of basketball as a junior and a senior
  • Member of the Athletic Advisory Committee, the Yellow Key, the Newman Club, Mendicants, Keidaeans, and the Golden R
  • Received the University's Louis Alexander Award as senior male athlete who contributed the most to athletics and campus life
  • Graduated from the University in 1959 with a baccalaureate degree in Economics

Post-Graduate:

  • President of Mendon Grain Co., a dealer in grains and dry beans
  • Owner-operator of Avon Farms, a standardbred horse-breeding farm, since 1961
  • Owner-operator of the Bragg Game Farm, a 600-acre crop farm and shooting preserve since 1967
