Hult Prize Challenge

The University of Rochester has been selected to participate in an on-campus Hult Prize Challenge quarterfinal competition!  The Hult Prize is a business start-up competition and the largest international social impact competition in the world. Offered in partnership with former US President Bill Clinton, it is now being called the “Nobel Prize for students”  and every year The Hult Prize hosts thousands of college and university students (from 150+ countries) in search of the next game-changing start-up. The winning team will move on to the regional finals in March 2017 and compete for the top prize of $1 Million seed money to implement their winning start-up idea. 
 
This year’s theme is “Reawakening Human Potential – The Refugee Opportunity”, building sustainable, start-up enterprises, and restoring the rights and dignity of 10 million refugees by 2022. 
Requirement of 3-4 University of Rochester team members undergraduate/graduate/PHD OPTIONAL: one alumni per team.
