What does community engagement mean to you? I see a community as a body tissue and a person as an individual cell that makes that tissue. For this reason, it is critical to for each person to contribute positively to the community for there is no person without community, and there is no community without the individual.
What advice would you give to incoming first-years who want to get involved? There are so many things you can do in the university, but you have to seek them and take advantage of the resources available to you, otherwise, you will have an average college experience.
