Orientation Leaders help to shape the future of a new student's life at the University by planning and implementing orientation for new entering students, transfer students, and exchange students.
What Orientation Leaders Do
Over the summer, Leaders work to plan Orientation activities and events while also serving as mentors for incoming first-year and transfer students. Leaders begin communicating with new students in early summer to help them prepare for orientation and campus life. Through email, mentors engage with students regarding important dates and information, serve as a resource and begin building relationships.
