Publication Timeline

A general timeframe for the publication process of your article.

July

1st- Submissions Open

Submit your Research Articles, Review Articles, and Correspondences here!

September

19th- Submissions Close

Please submit your work before 11:59 on September 19th!

23rd- Initial Acceptances

Some articles, those that deal with subjects that do not require professor reviews, or are areas where our editors have some expertise, are accepted at this early date. These authors will be notified by email.

October

18th- Secondary Acceptances and Rejections

Upon extensive review by our editorial board and professor review board, articles which meet our publication standards are accepted. Accepted and rejected authors are informed via email. Rejected authors are encouraged to submit a revised manuscript for the next semester’s issue of JUR.

November

Content and Layout Editing

JUR staff will be hard at work to prepare the issue. Accepted authors may be contacted during this period for clarification on their paper.

December

2nd- Publication of JUR

The issue will be mailed to the address of the accepted authors, and will be distributed around campus.

Publication Party

To celebrate the publication of the issue, a event will be held to celebrate our authors. All are welcome.
