Student Registration

Eligible members of the Class of 2024 must register to participate in the University’s Commencement Weekend, taking place from May 17–19. The student registration process includes the following:

• URID: Have your student ID (URID) number ready to confirm your eligibility for graduation—your URID can be found in UR Student under the summary tab on your profile page.
• Guests: It’s very important to note that ONLY students who are eligible to graduate can register guests for the University Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 17. We recommend that graduates invite no more than six guests, but candidates who want to invite more than six family members and friends may do so.
  • Guests cannot register themselves. Students MUST register their guests during the registration process.
  • Each guest will be required to show proof of registration, which will be emailed to all guests, in order to enter Fauver Stadium.
  • It’s also important that you use the names of your guests in during the registration process. In the event that we need to verify a guest’s registration, we will need to match your guests with their photo IDs.
• School and department graduation ceremonies: Sign up to cross the stage at your school or department graduation ceremony. There will not be a limit on the number of guests for graduation ceremonies.
