The Marcom AI Committee brings together an institution-wide team of members to explore how to ethically and safely integrate generative AI into our marketing, communications, and digital teams.
What is generative AI?
Generative AI is a branch of artificial intelligence that can create text, images, audio, video, and code based on a data model that it has been trained on. A user provides a prompt, generally in the form of a text or voice input, and the model creates the output to try to satisfy that request.
Mission and vision
The AI Marcom Committee is established to guide and support the ethical, safe, and effective adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies within the University’s marketing, communications, and digital teams. Its mission is to ensure a holistic approach in leveraging generative AI tools to enhance efficiency, creativity, and performance across marketing, communications, and digital disciplines while addressing ethical, security, and operational risks.
