'Our collective generosity will improve the lives of our neighbors'

Elizabeth Stauderman, vice president for communications and the 2021 United Way campaign chair, thanks the University community for its support: “As we near the close of this year’s United Way workplace campaign, I want to thank everyone who has taken part. Our collective generosity will improve the lives of our neighbors and strengthen our community. If you haven’t made a pledge yet, there’s still time! The pledge link will be active on HRMS until the end of May and every contribution, large or small, has a positive impact. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.”

There’s still time to support this year’s United Way campaign. Visit the University’s campaign website to make a pledge today.

Security tip: Shred it to protect it

Shredding documents containing personal information is crucial to keeping your identity safe. This includes but is not limited to bank statements, pay stubs, and canceled checks, which are treasure troves for identity thieves. Simply recycling or throwing documents away is not enough to protect valuable information. If shredding documents seems inconvenient, you can choose the paperless route with your accounts or take part in the University’s annual Shred Fest, taking place Friday, July 23. Read about the results and success from last year’s event.
