TODAY’S UPDATES

Town Hall meeting to provide info on upcoming chilled water outage

University Facilities and Services will host a virtual town hall meeting for the River Campus community at 3 p.m. EDT on Thursday, July 15, about a planned chilled water shutdown to designated buildings on Wednesday, July 21. The outage is necessary for repairs to the chilled water distribution system. The outage, which will affect the air conditioning in the impacted River Campus buildings, will begin at 3 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.

Because of the shutdown, the Pit in Wilson Commons will close for breakfast on July 21 and be open for cold lunch only at 11 a.m. They expect to be back to full operation by dinner. There will be food trucks on Wilson Quadrangle from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
