This summer, University IT will begin requiring Duo two-factor authentication for Microsoft 365 services
Sunday is Pride Celebration Day at the Memorial Art Gallery
Login security improvements will affect some email, calendar apps
To continue efforts to reduce phishing and cybersecurity threats, University IT will begin requiring Duo two-factor authentication for Microsoft 365 services. Over the summer, University IT will roll out this change to University faculty, staff, and students who use Microsoft 365 services including email, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, and more. When accessing these services, you will receive a prompt to log in to Duo if you are not connected to the University network. You may not have to authenticate again for up to 30 days. This change will help prevent unauthorized access to accounts and University services.
After this change, some mail applications used to access University email will no longer work and a new mail app or update may be required. Learn more on what to expect, and watch your University mailbox for instructions and notices from the University IT Help Desk to be ready for this change.
