Update on faculty and staff booster requirement

In a message sent yesterday to University employees, University President Sarah Mangelsdorf, Medical Center CEO Mark Taubman, Interim Provost Sarah Peyre, and Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Kathleen Gallucci, announced an extension of the booster deadline to April 30 for all University faculty and staff who are not in roles covered by the New York Department of Health mandate.

Current masking guidelines and the student booster requirement will remain in place for now, and those who are affected by the current state mandate for health care personnel should work with Medical Center leaders to ensure they follow applicable directives in connection with the deadline for compliance. Faculty and staff who have not yet reported their completed booster status are encouraged to do so through the COVID Vaccination Status Portal (University network or VPN connection required).
