TODAY’S UPDATES

Information sessions on public safety policy evaluation

The University has contracted with campus security consultants Margolis Healy to embark on a comprehensive evaluation of its public safety policies, procedures, and organizational infrastructure. This initiative is a top priority for the University as it continues efforts to ensure inclusive, fair, and equitable security practices across the institution.

On Wednesday, June 15, representatives from Margolis Healy will hold two open sessions with members of the University community to explain the process and gather feedback. Faculty and staff are invited to attend the first session, which will be held from 12:45 to 2 p.m. EDT in the Genrich-Rusling Room (Room 215), LeChase Hall. This will be a hybrid event, so faculty and staff may also join the session via Zoom.

Students are invited to attend the 2:15 to 3:30 p.m. EDT session on June 15, also in the Genrich-Rusling Room (Room 215), LeChase Hall. Students may join the drop-in session live via Zoom. Participation is encouraged at both open sessions.
