Ukraine’s ally in Rochester’s libraries

Lawn games day for graduate students

Take a break from your studies and soak up summer with the Graduate Student Wellness Committee’s first-ever lawn games event for graduate students on Thursday, July 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Play Kan Jam, bocce, cornhole, kickball, ladder ball, and more. Free snacks will also be provided. The event will take place on the Hajim Science and Engineering Quad between Wegmans Hall, Carlson Library, and Goergen Hall, and is open to the entire graduate student community.

Provost David Figlio to hold open sessions at Tasty Tuesdays

Tasty Tuesdays will play host to new Provost David Figlio for three weeks in July. Members of the University community are invited to drop by the provost’s table on July 5, 12, and 19 from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the Wilson Quad. In a recent message, Figlio said he considers these drop-in sessions an opportunity to begin an open and ongoing dialogue with the University community, and that he is eager to work with students, faculty, and staff on initiatives that move the University forward.

Pride Celebration Day at MAG

Join Memorial Art Gallery for Pride Celebration Day on Thursday, July 7, from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy free museum admission, a unicorn photo op, drag storytime with Vanessa LeRoux, workshop performances by Frazee Feet Dance, and more activities for all ages. Webinar offers tips from the Simon Admissions Committee

Register to attend a webinar on Thursday, July 7, at 5:30 p.m. EDT for tips and tricks for completing and submitting your strongest application for Simon Business School’s part-time programs. Face masks are optional for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors indoors. Patient care areas, as well as University shuttles and transportation, continue to require masking.
