The committee will work closely with search firm Isaacson Miller to ensure that the person placed in this position will have the expertise necessary to build on the successes of the School of Arts & Sciences and the strategic vision to guide the forward direction of the school. The committee will be chaired by Lisa Kahn, a professor of economics and the Helen F. and Fred H. Gowen Professor in the Social Sciences. As previously announced, Gloria Culver, who for nine years led the School of Arts & Sciences through considerable development and growth, is stepping down and returning to the faculty after a research hiatus.
