University flags on the Eastman Quadrangle and near the entrance of Strong Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department will be lowered on Thursday, July 27, for Nadia Sarkis, a financial analyst in the Department of Biomedical Genetics, who died on June 23. Sarkis joined the University staff in 2009.

Join the David T. Kearns Center at its Summer Research Symposium on Friday, July 28, in the Feldman Ballroom, Douglass Commons. The symposium will celebrate the accomplishments of more than 60 undergraduate research scholars who participated in a ten-week summer program at the University. Panel discussions will take place from 9:20 to 9:50 a.m. and 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.; oral presentations will take place from 10:10 to 11:15 a.m. and 1:55 to 3:10 p.m.; poster sessions will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3:20 to 4:20 p.m.
