Phelps Professor in Public Health and Policy, a professor of history, and a professor of clinical medicine. “Policies that expand reporting are not associated with more accurate detection of children at risk of harm, and states in which all adults are legally required to report are no better at detecting child abuse than those in which the mandate is narrower.”
