Enjoy today's eclipse

Today’s the day when Rochester will be in the path of totality for the total solar eclipse. It hasn’t happened here since 1925, and it won’t happen again until 2144. Find ways in which the University community is celebrating—or stream the eclipse live; pick up glasses (if you still need them); and explore Rochester-centric tips, science, and history.

In today’s issue:

  • Graduate Student Appreciation Week kicks off today
  • The lineup for the first few lectures in the Voices of XR series
  • Register for a conference on ethics in health care

The majority of Rochester FedEx Express drivers plan to be off the roads by 3 p.m., and deliveries may not happen after 2 p.m. if there is congestion in the area. You can sign up for FedEx Service alerts here.
