This Memorial Day, we share the stories of Rochester alumni Earl Krumwiede ’46E, Jacob Thomas Farris ’41M (Res), and James Morse ’68 who died serving in the US Armed Forces.

The Hopeman Memorial Carillon is also marking the holiday with a concert on Saturday, May 25, at 12:30 p.m. Parking is free at 755 Library Road; attendees are asked to avoid the newly seeded section of Eastman Quadrangle and listen from the south side of Rush Rhees Library, near the statues. Find the program here.

The next issue of @Rochester will arrive in your inbox on Tuesday, May 28, after the Memorial Day holiday. Send suggestions for Tuesday’s edition by 2 p.m. today.
