Do you have a dependent child who is eligible for tuition benefits at the University? Don’t forget to apply for the tuition waiver for the 2024–25 academic year by logging into HRMS using your Net ID and following the path Self Service >Benefits >Tuition >Apply–Dependent Tuition Waiver.

Tips from Excellus on protecting your skin from the sun

The Office of Human Resources shares content from Excellus on a variety of health topics to help you stay healthy at every age. With summer weather arriving, protecting your skin from the sun is one way you and your family can stay healthy and prevent disease.

Mara Weinstein Velez, an associate professor of dermatology, also shares five tips for keeping skin healthy and protected during the summer.

Wilmot Warrior Weekend community bike ride on June 29

Do you want to ride in the Wilmot Warrior Weekend in September? Consider jumpstarting your training with a free community bike ride on Saturday, June 29. Meet at 8:45 a.m. at Towpath Bike Shop, 21 Schoen Place, and depart at 9 a.m. All levels are welcome. Towpath will have mechanics on hand to tune up your bike before taking off on a 15-mile paved route along the Erie Canal. Email WarriorWeekend@Rochester.edu to register to participate.

Pride Celebration Day at MAG

Join the Memorial Art Gallery for LGBTQIA+ Pride Celebration Day, an annual celebration of acceptance, community, diversity, learning, and love on Thursday, July 11, from 5 to 9 p.m. Visitors will enjoy free museum admission, drag story time with Vanessa LeRoux, music from Flower City Pride Band, food trucks including Chef’s Catering and Effortlessly Healthy, artmaking with the museum’s Creative Workshop, bubbles, lawn games, and more all-ages fun. Registration is required.
