Financial Aid Application Instructions Available

Financial aid application instructions for the 2019–20 academic year were emailed this week. Check your University email account to review the information or log into your FAOnline account and confirm what needs to be submitted by referring to the Required Documents page.  The application deadline is March 15, 2019. Keep in mind that returning undergraduates who do not submit their application with all supporting documentation by March 15 are not guaranteed full consideration for need-based University grant assistance and may have their institutional aid reduced due to limited funding. Review the late policy by reading the Financial Aid Handbook located on the policies section of the financial aid website. Contact the Financial Aid Office with questions.

Winter Stay Housing Registration Deadline Is December 17

The residence halls close for the semester at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 22. If you need to stay on campus for any or all of the Winter Stay (December 21 to January 12), housing is available in Susan B. Anthony, Genesee Hall, Riverview, Brooks Crossing, Southside, and the Maisonettes. All students planning to stay must register through the ResLife website by December 17. Spring housing opens on Saturday, January 12, for current returning students with a fall assignment and students who need to complete a room change. Housing opens Sunday, January 13, for students newly checking into campus housing for the spring semester (including transfer students, those returning from study abroad, and students returning from inactive status). Early arrival is not offered, so plan accordingly. Your declining balance dollars can be used throughout the break period until January 11. See how to budget your meal plan dollars using the DB Budgeting Calendar. For more information, visit Rochester.edu/winter.
