Fall 2020 Registration Begins This Week 
Registration begins this week in UR Student for the Fall 2020 semester. The registration schedule for each class year is as follows:
- Monday, April 20, at 9:30 a.m. for rising seniors, T5, e5, and dual degree students
- Tuesday, April 21, at 9:30 a.m. for rising juniors
- Wednesday, April 22, at 9:30 a.m. for rising sophomores
Please note that this is your first day to register, but it is not the only day to register.

In addition, staff from the Office of the University Registrar and College Center for Advising Services are available to answer questions Monday through Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon through a special Zoom link dedicated to open registration support.

If you do not have reliable access to the Internet, you can register via an electronic add-drop form, available on the College Center for Advising Services site.

Deadline to Withdraw from a Class Is April 22The last day for undergraduates in AS&E to withdraw from a class is Wednesday, April 22. Students planning to withdraw from a class should review the instructions and submit an online drop/add form, available here. Advisors in the College Center for Advising Services are available to discuss these decisions. Students may contact CCAS by email or to schedule a Zoom appointment.
Celebrate Springfest Online Join the University community for a Rochester tradition: Springfest Weekend, April 23–26. It may look a little different this year, but Springfest will capture the same magic with an online escape room, music, e-sports, trivia, painting, a virtual 5K, Dandelion Day, and more. Summer Sessions Advising
Are you unsure about registering for summer sessions, which courses are moving online, or have questions about how to register for summer? The Office of Summer and Continuing Studies is here to help with Zoom Advising. You can also connect via email, on Facebook, or Instagram.
As a reminder, summer session courses continue to shift online. Summer Sessions give you the opportunity to get ahead, stay on track, or catch up. With four different sessions and over 100 classes to choose from, you can earn up to 12 credits over the summer. Take advantage of summer’s discounted tuition rate. Check out the course offerings online.
Registration for summer classes can be done via WebReg. If you have an advisor hold on your WebReg account, please complete an add/drop form to register for summer courses. Download and fill out the form, save the file, and email it to CCASREC@ur.rochester.edu.
Give Your Input on How to Celebrate the Graduating ClassThe College Commencement Planning Committee seeks input on how best to celebrate the Class of 2020 virtually the week prior to and during the weekend of May 15, which would have been the original on-campus commencement date. The committee is also looking at opportunities to celebrate on-campus and in person at a future date.
