Last Day to Change to Letter Grades Is April 29

Wednesday, April 29, is the last day for undergraduates in Arts, Sciences & Engineering to submit the form to change to letter grades for spring 2020. If the letter-grade form is not submitted, the grades on the transcript will be reported as “P” or “F.” Courses with grades of “P” may be used to fulfill major, minor, cluster, and other College requirements for the spring 2020 semester. Students who wish to change their earlier decision about grading may submit a new form with their selections of grading basis up until the April 29 deadline. The Registrar’s Office will use the information from the last form submitted to determine the grading basis.

A Reminder about the College's Academic Honesty Policy

The transition to remote instruction may have raised new questions about how to meet your obligations under the Academic Honesty Policy. Read this letter from the College Academic Honesty Liaison to make sure you have the information you need to navigate academic honesty during the last few weeks of the semester.

Fall Registration Still Open

More than 4,000 students in Arts, Sciences & Engineering and at the Eastman School of Music successfully registered for fall courses last week in UR Student. Registration continues for all undergraduate students, so if you have not registered for your fall semester classes, please do so as soon as possible. If you need to make a change to your schedule, please see the UR Student guide on how to Drop, Swap, and Add a course or section. All changes must be completed by the add/drop period for each school (September 23 for AS&E). Additional information can be found on the UR Student portal. You can also contact the Office of University Registration with questions.

Summer Session Registration Is Also Open

Do you need a class for your major, minor, or cluster; need to get ahead to go abroad in a future semester; or retake some classes?

The Summer Session has over 100 online courses to choose from to suit your needs. Choose from 4-week or 6-week sessions and earn up to 12 credits all at the reduced summer tuition rate. Check out the course offerings online. As a reminder, registration for summer classes can be done via WebReg and not in UR Student.
