Spring 2021 Study Break Reminder

Spring semester study break days will be held on Wednesday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 30. AS&E and the Eastman School of Music will not hold classes—graduate or undergraduate—on these days. All undergraduate classes taught at the School of Medicine and Dentistry and at Simon will also be canceled on those days.

Summer Registration Opens Tomorrow

Are you thinking about taking courses this summer to catch up or get ahead? Summer course registration will open on Monday, March 1, via UR Student. With four-, six-, and 12-week sessions, including completely asynchronous course options, you’re sure to find courses that will work for you. Learn more via the Summer website and discuss summer options with your academic advisor.

COVID-19 Testing for Students Who Attend Protests and Rallies

Because protests and rallies sometimes involve large groups of people congregating together for an extended period of time, University Health Service (UHS) is again making post-protest testing available to full-time University students who request it, based on their participation in these events. This rapid testing program is for asymptomatic students, and appointments can be scheduled by emailing uhscovid19@uhs.rochester.edu. Having a test done on days 4–7 after potential exposure is optimal. Note that students who are having symptoms should always call UHS at (585) 275-2662 immediately to make an appointment to be tested.
