Deadline to Withdraw from a Class Is May 7

Friday, May 7, is the last day to withdraw from a course for the spring 2021 semester. To request a course withdrawal, you need to complete an add/drop form and submit the completed form to ccasrec@ur.rochester.edu. May 7 is also the last day for students in the Class of 2021 to declare the satisfactory/fail option on up to two spring 2021 courses. Contact the College Center for Advising Services or the Registrar’s Office with questions.

Complete the Campus Climate Survey by Friday

In April, the University launched a Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault and Misconduct. All Rochester students are encouraged to participate in the survey, which will assess the prevalence and nature of students’ experiences with sexual and relationship violence, harassment, and other sexual misconduct, as well as students’ knowledge and opinions of the University resources available to them. Westat, a social science research firm, is administering the survey, and individual responses will be confidential. The de-identified results will be published on the University’s website as required by New York State law and will be used to guide policies to encourage a healthy, safe, and nondiscriminatory environment at the University. Participation in this survey is completely voluntary. Please check your email for a message from the Office of Equity and Inclusion, which includes a link to the survey, which is open until Friday, May 7.
