Winter Stay Housing, Dining

Winter Stay housing begins on Saturday, December 18, and ends Friday, January 7. This year, housing will be offered in Susan B. Anthony Halls, Genesee Hall, Gilbert Hall, Riverview, Brooks Crossing, Innovation Square, and Southside (deKiewiet, Valentine, and Maisonettes). All other buildings are closed during the semester break period. Students who do not live in one of these seven areas should negotiate with another student who does live in one of these areas to use their space for the break period. Students are strongly encouraged to find suitable break housing by contacting friends or friends of friends. If you are unable to find a place to stay through this process, contact the Office for Residential Life via email. Registration is required if you plan to stay for any or all of Winter Stay. Only those students who register for Winter Stay housing will be given ID access. The Winter Stay registration form will be available shortly and will be shared by Residential Life and posted on the Residential Life website.

Students will be able to use their declining dollars for the Winter Stay period. If you have a Pass Plan, you will not be able to swipe after December 17. Only the declining dollars portion of your plan can be used over the Winter Stay period. Additional deposits can be made at the Customer Service/ID Office in Susan B. Anthony Halls using cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. Deposits may also be made online. The Pit, Starbucks, and the Hillside Pod will be open on specified dates and times. Schedules will be available soon. Students may also use their declining dollars in Café 601 at the Medical Center, which is open every day with extended hours. Additionally, students will be able to use their declining dollars for off-campus restaurants on Grubhub.
