Return of In-Person Instruction

In-person instruction for the spring 2022 semester begins Monday, January 31. A reminder that details and updates on-campus requirements and other important information—including campus face mask policies, isolation policies, gathering limits, testing options this semester, and more—can be found on the Spring 2022 FAQ page as well as the COVID-19 Resource Center.

If you need further assistance, please direct questions to  URQuestion@rochester.edu. You can also continue to find key updates in the daily @Rochester newsletter and on University Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram channels.

COVID-19 Self-Test Kit Distribution

The University is providing each full-time undergraduate and graduate student who is part of the Student Health Program with a COVID-19 self-test kit to use when they wish.

Test kits for Arts, Sciences & Engineering undergraduates with a CMC box will be placed in their mailboxes in the River Campus Mail Center;  students who do not have a CMC box can pick up test kits at the Common Connection in Wilson Commons.

Each kit comes with two tests. Students who take the test over the course of the semester and have a positive result should use Dr. Chat Bot to report their result to University Health Service. You can find the full distribution plan here.

Celebrate Winterfest Weekend

Enjoy Rochester’s winter splendor at Winterfest Weekend, February 4–6. Featured events include adopt-a-plant, ice skating, cupcake decorating, curling lessons, giveaways, games, a “Winter Wonderland” (including an ice-carving demonstration and fire pits), and a sold-out evening with comedian Pete Davidson. Check out the full schedule for details about this Rochester Tradition celebration.
