Graduation Regalia Distribution Delayed, Extended Campus Bookstore Hours

Graduates: caps and gowns will be available for pick-up or purchase at the Barnes and Noble University of Rochester Bookstore at College Town and the Eastman School of Music Bookstore starting the first week of May. If you pre-ordered your regalia online and selected “bookstore pickup,” please wait a few days and plan to stop by the bookstore starting on Wednesday, May 3. Web orders are running a bit late from Oak Hall and may not be available until then. Your alpha-packed items will be held under your name until pick-up; they will not be allocated to anyone else. If you cannot claim your items in person, feel free to have a friend or roommate pick them up.

If you did not place an order in advance, know that the store has a significant supply of extra items in all sizes and degrees. Even so, it is recommended that you stop by the store as soon as possible to ensure the best fit and correct hood color. Items to be purchased off the shelf will be available starting May 1.

The College Town bookstore will have extended hours through Commencement Weekend:

  • Monday, May 1, to Thursday, May 11: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 7: Closed
  • Friday, May 12: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; there will be a regalia station on campus at 8 a.m.
  • Saturday, May 13: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 14: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
