Have you submitted your individual travel waiver yet? Undergraduate students must have a completed and approved waiver each year in order to participate in student organization activities more than 25 miles off campus. 2023–24 waivers can be submitted here and all waivers completed before September 6 will be entered into a drawing for one of five new limited-edition Community Weekend sweatshirts.

“As we start the 2023–24 academic year together, I encourage you to embrace the exciting possibilities ahead and draw on our shared Meliora values of equity, leadership, integrity, openness, respect, and accountability. These values are the foundation for our community, and they will serve you well in the weeks and months ahead,” writes President Sarah Mangelsdorf in a message shared last week with Rochester students.

The message also included a link to an update from Provost David Figlio, noting several campus improvements in response to feedback from students.

There are no classes on Monday, September 4, in observance of the federal Labor Day holiday.
