University sets tuition rates, financial aid for 2024–25

Tuition for undergraduates for the 2024–25 school year will increase by 4.3 percent over last year to $65,870; housing and food will increase 4.6 percent to $19,570. Financial aid funding is rising by 7 percent to $175 million in institutional grants and scholarships.

Drop/add deadlines

February 14 is the last day to add a course with instructor permission, including independent study and independent research. Find more details about adding courses here.

February 14 is also the last day to drop a course.

February 15 is the first day to withdraw from a course. More information about course withdrawals can be found in the “Dropping Courses” section of the Academic Policies and Advising Handbook.

Meal plan change deadline is February 14

The last day to change your spring 2024 meal plan is Wednesday, February 14. A $50 change fee applies. The form for meal plan changes is located on the dining web page. Email mealplans@services.rochester.edu with questions.
