Deadline to Declare S/F Option Is November 17

The last day to withdraw from a class or declare the S/F (satisfactory/fail) option is Thursday, November 17.  Students who are in their first semester have an extended deadline of December 5 to declare the S/F option. In order to withdraw from a course, students must first pick up a drop/add form from Lattimore 312. A pre-major advisor’s signature is required on the form for students in the Class of 2019 and 2020 and all undergraduate students in the Hajim School. Hajim School undergraduates are also required to obtain a department stamp. The online form to declare the S/F option is available at Rochester.edu/registrar/formrequests.html. Advisors in the College Center for Advising Services (Lattimore 312) are available to discuss options with students.

Mandatory Session for Those Applying to Medical, Dental, or Veterinary School

All applicants to medical, dental, and veterinary school are required to attend a session that covers the process to request a Health Committee Letter for the 2017 application cycle (for 2018 matriculation). Attend one of the two sessions: Wednesday, November 30, at 6 p.m. or Saturday, December 10, at 10 a.m. in the Gowen Room, Wilson Commons. Email URHealthProfessions@UR.rochester.edu with any questions.
