Declare S/F Option by December 6

The deadline for first-year students and transfer students in their first semester to declare the S/F (pass/fail) grading option is Wednesday, December 6. For more information about the option, see Rochester.edu/college/ccas/handbook/SFOption.html. The S/F form is available at Rochester.edu/registrar/formrequests.html. Academic advisors in the College Center for Advising Services (Lattimore 312) are also available to answer your questions.

Reminder: Prepare for Winter Stay

The residence halls will close for the semester at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 23. If you plan to remain on campus during Winter Stay (December 23, 2017, through January 14, 2018), housing will be available in some residence halls. To register for housing during the break, work directly with Residential Life. Spring housing opens on Saturday, January 13, for students changing rooms, and Sunday, January 14, for all students returning to campus and for those checking in.

If you plan to stay for break, be sure to reserve some of your declining dollars, or purchase additional dollars, to ensure you have enough to get through your time on campus. You can use your declining dollars up until January 11, 2018. Declining dollars for the spring semester begin on Friday, January 12, 2018. Students who are staying are also encouraged to purchase URos as the dining facility hours are limited during the break. URos are accepted at a variety of locations around Rochester, on campus and at the Medical Center. To load additional funds onto your ID, go to Learn.rochester.edu.
