Leadership update for University staff – Zoom event on June 29

On Monday, June 29, from noon to 1 p.m. EDT, join President Sarah Mangelsdorf and other University leaders for a live Zoom event to hear updates on issues that are important to our staff. Participants will include Mercedes Ramírez Fernández, vice president for equity and inclusion and chief diversity officer; Tony Kinslow, associate vice president for human resources and chief human resources officer; and Kathy Gallucci, associate vice president for human resources at the Medical Center. The program will be hosted and moderated by Caterina Caiazza, director of career curriculum initiatives at the Gwen M. Greene Center for Career Education and Connections and cochair of the Genesee Staff Council.

Managers are encouraged to allow interested staff to participate. Furloughed staff are also welcome to join. Participation is optional and will not be considered work time. Staff who do not have access to a computer or reliable internet can see the program in specially reserved rooms that have been set up for safe, physically distant viewing: Class of ’62 Auditorium (Medical Center) and Hoyt Auditorium and Wegmans Hall 1400 (River Campus). Please note that in keeping with New York State guidelines, no more than 25 people can be in one of the conference rooms. You can reserve a spot when you register.

Pre-registration is required, and questions for panelists can be submitted at the time of registration. An ASL interpreter will be onscreen, and the event will also be closed-captioned. A recording will be made available online at a later date.

Register for the event.
