As previously announced, the Medical Center, along with other select academic medical centers, plans to test the COVID-19 vaccine on 200–300 volunteers among healthy children aged 6 months to 11 years of age. Enrollment begins June 7 for children ages 5–11 for the Pfizer vaccine trial, with Moderna trials expected to start in August.
