The Barbara Burger iZone is open exclusively to students living on the River Campus during the summer session as a study-only space.
Hours are Monday through Friday (excluding July 3) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This time period will be split into two blocks:
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,* with River Campus Libraries staff present
4 p.m. to 8 p.m. close, with Department of Public Safety officers
*During this time period iZone will also serve as a pick-up location for library materials requested by faculty and graduate students.
There are important protocols you need to know about the space:
- You need your ID to enter
- Masks are required
- You must maintain a six-foot distance from others
- Food and drinks are not allowed
- There is safe seating for about 84 students—indicated by green stickers—with some limitations:
- 1 student per booth and consult space
- 2 students per project room
- Variable forum seating based on physical distancing
- You will be asked to disinfect your own spaces; cleaning supplies will be made available upon entry
- As a study-only space, there will be no in-person services offered in iZone.
- Self-service printing is available through personal devices via Pharos Print app
- Access to other library spaces or physical collections are not available at this time.
