URDU Has Semifinalists At Northeast Regional Championships

This past weekend the URDU traveled to Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania to debate at the Northeast Regional Championship tournament in the worlds format.

Ben Frazer and Sarah Hofmann finished as Semi-finalists in a very close debate. This weekend the URDU debated topics ranging from cyber-security, to international economics, to feminist movements. Two brand new debaters also tagged along to judge at the tournament and learned a lot from the debaters they watched!

We look ahead to CEDA Nationals in the policy format and Pan American Championships in worlds this weekend, with the US Universities Championship coming up in April.
