Caitlin Orbanek is a Senior Strategic Planner and Grant Writer with the University of Rochester Medical Center. She enjoys the project-based nature of her work; particularly getting to dive deeply into projects with people passionate about their fields of expertise to support their advancement through either strategic planning or sourcing funding. Her work leads her to meeting people of all role types in departments across the medical center and gives her a fascinating birds eye view of the healthcare considerations our community will face into the future.
Prior to her work at URMC, she spent ten years in primary and secondary education-based CBO’s as a project manager, covering topics including social and emotional learning, policy development, program implementation, and program assessment. She lives in Irondequoit and enjoys gardening, live music, parenting her hilarious toddler, and cooking elaborate meals (after said toddler has gone to bed!)
